IDHS FY26 Homelessness Prevention Program Funding Letters of Intent due
 

The Illinois Department of Human Services FY 2026 Homelessness Prevention Program allocation process has begun. The anticipated funding level for Homelessness Prevention for the Heartland Continuum of Care is $400,000 and is subject to change.

You can review the HCoC Housing Problem Solving Policy here which includes Homelessness Prevention.

If your organization is interested in applying to administrate Homelessness Prevention funding, the process is:
- Complete the HCOC HP LOI by Tuesday, April 1st at 4:30 PM.
- The HCoC will evaluate applications and a recommended allocation will be presented to the HCoC Board for approval.
